How do I connect SharpSpring (Constant Contact Lead Gen & CRM) to MONA?

Quick answer: In SharpSpring (now Constant Contact Lead Gen & CRM), go to Settings, then API Settings and copy your Account ID and Secret Key. In MONA, a studio owner or admin opens Settings, then Integrations, clicks Connect SharpSpring on the SharpSpring card, pastes both, clicks Verify, chooses which leads come in, and clicks Connect. How do I connect SharpSpring to MONA?

1. Copy your API keys from SharpSpring. Go to Settings, then API Settings, and copy the Account ID and Secret Key.
2. Open Integrations in MONA. Click your profile photo in the top right, choose Team Settings, then Integrations, and scroll to the SharpSpring card.
3. Click Connect SharpSpring. Paste the Account ID and Secret Key (click Show to check the key) and click Verify. MONA checks them with SharpSpring before anything is saved. The Secret Key is encrypted and never shown again.
4. Answer Which leads come into MONA?
   • Only leads I add to a SharpSpring list (recommended). Pick the list, for example a "Ready to Quote" list your marketing person adds qualified leads to. If you have no lists yet, create one in SharpSpring first.

What happens to each lead in MONA?

Every 15 minutes MONA checks SharpSpring for leads that match your choice. For each one:

• A new person becomes a new contact in your CRM, as a lead, with the SharpSpring details filled in and a note that it was imported from SharpSpring.
• Someone already in MONA is matched, first by the SharpSpring lead and then by email, so you never get a duplicate. MONA only fills in fields that are blank. Anything your team typed is never overwritten.

The contact also carries a SharpSpring link back to the lead.

How do I bring in leads from before I connected?

1. On the SharpSpring card, click Import past leads.
2. Choose Leads created in a date range and set the start and end dates, or Everyone on a SharpSpring list and choose the list.
3. Click Import. You see SharpSpring import finished when it is done. Leads already in MONA are matched by email and never duplicated.

How do I manage the connection?

The SharpSpring card has four buttons for owners and admins:

• Sync now checks for new leads immediately instead of waiting for the next 15-minute check.
• Import past leads brings in older leads (above).
• Change opens Change which leads come in, where you switch between a list and every new lead, or pick a different list, then click Save.
• Disconnect stops new leads. MONA forgets the Secret Key, and leads already in your CRM stay where they are.

If a sync hits a problem, the card shows the error and MONA tries again on the next sync. If SharpSpring stops accepting the key (for example, after someone regenerates it), the card says SharpSpring stopped accepting MONA’s key, so no new leads are coming in. Click Reconnect and paste the current keys.

Can I ask the MONA agent about SharpSpring leads?

Yes. Try "Look up Jane Smith in SharpSpring" or "Import the latest SharpSpring leads." The agent uses the same connection and the same matching rules as the card.

What it does not do (yet)

• One way only. Leads come from SharpSpring into MONA. MONA does not write back to SharpSpring, and it does not change or delete anything there.
• Not instant. New leads arrive on the next 15-minute check, or when you click Sync now.
• One list at a time. In list mode MONA watches a single list.
