Is there a MONA app for iPhone, and can I use MONA on my phone?

Quick answer: Not yet. A native MONA iPhone app is in testing and is not in the App Store. You can use MONA on any iPhone or Android phone today: open monaverse.com in Safari or Chrome, sign in, and add it to your Home Screen so it opens full screen like an app. Everything in your account is there, and Ask MONA, meeting recording and the time tracker all work from your phone.

MONA is the agentic operating system for interior design studios, and the phone is where a lot of studio work starts: a site walk, a client call in the car, a photo of a room, an hour to log. This article covers what works on a phone today and how to set it up.

How do I add MONA to my iPhone Home Screen?

1. Open monaverse.com and sign in in Safari or Chrome on your iPhone.
2. Tap the Share button. In Safari it is in the toolbar at the bottom, center. In Chrome, tap the menu at the top right, then find Share.
3. Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add. MONA appears on your Home Screen like any other app and opens without the browser bar.

When you are signed in on a phone, MONA shows a small Add MONA to your Home Screen banner at the bottom of the screen. On iPhone, tap Show me how for a two-step picture guide. If you close the banner, it stays away for about 30 days.

How do I install MONA on an Android phone?

1. Open monaverse.com in Chrome and sign in.
2. Tap Install on the Add MONA to your Home Screen banner and confirm. If you closed the banner, use the Chrome menu and choose the install or Add to Home screen option.

What can I do in MONA on my phone?

Everything in your account is available in the phone browser. The bottom bar holds the sections people use most on the go: Home, Ask MONA, Projects and Visualize, with Library and Services under More. Tap the menu button at the top for every other section, such as Tasks, Meetings, Messages and Time.

Good things to do from your phone:

• Ask MONA anything. Attach photos straight from your camera roll, ask about a project, or have MONA draft a client email while you are on site. See What can the MONA AI agent do, and how do I ask it for help?
• Render or restyle a room photo you just took, from Visualize or Ask MONA.
• Check a project on site: tasks, files, the schedule and client messages.
• Text or call MONA from your phone number without opening the site at all. See Can I text or call MONA from my phone?

Is there a simpler phone layout?

Yes. Go to monaverse.com/mobile for a four-tab layout built for one-handed use, then add that page to your Home Screen if you like it:

• Chat: a full-screen Ask MONA conversation. If Ask MONA is not part of your plan, this tab opens Artifacts instead.
• Record: tap Record a meeting to record a client call or site walk, or Upload a recording you made elsewhere. You get a transcript and a structured note.
• Time: the Timer card starts and stops your timer against a project, the Expenses card has Log expense for a receipt photo, and suggested hours from your day wait for review. Nothing is billable until you accept it.
• Artifacts: your latest renders, files and scans in one grid. Tap any one to open it.

The account menu in the top right of that layout has Scan a room and Account settings.

How do I record a meeting on my phone?

1. Open the Record tab at monaverse.com/mobile.
2. Tap Record a meeting, set the details, and start. Allow microphone access when your phone asks.
3. Stop when you are done. MONA transcribes the recording and writes the meeting note. Open it from Meetings on any device.

Can I scan a room with my iPhone?

Not yet. Room scanning uses Apple's LiDAR camera through the native MONA iPhone app, which is not in the App Store yet. It also needs a Pro iPhone or iPad with LiDAR. If you open Scan a room in a browser, MONA tells you the scanner lives in the iOS app.

What it does not do (yet)

• There is no native app in the App Store or Google Play yet.
• MONA does not work offline. The Home Screen icon needs a connection like the website does.
• CAD, Finance and wide schedule tables are built for a computer. They open from the phone menu, but precise drawing and bookkeeping are easier on a laptop.
