How do I find and save products in the MONA product library?
Open Library, then Products. Save with the MONA Clipper, Add product > From URL, or Create manually. Filter by category, brand, vendor, tags or price, then Add to schedule.
Quick answer: click Library in the sidebar, then the Products chip. Save products with the MONA Clipper Chrome extension, with Add product then From URL, or with Add product then Create manually. Find them again with search and the filters, and put any of them on a project’s FF&E schedule with Add to schedule.
The Products library is your studio’s shared spec library: every sofa, sconce, tile and fabric you have sourced, with its photos, specs and pricing, ready to drop onto a schedule (also called a spec sheet or product schedule), a presentation, or a render. It is team-wide, so anything one designer saves is there for everyone.
Where is the product library?
There are two ways in, and both open the same library:
- Library, then the Products chip. This view has the Search your library box at the top and a Project filter to show only one project’s products.
- monaverse.com/products, the direct link to the same page.
Switch between Grid and Table with the view toggle at the right of the filter row. MONA remembers your choice.
How do I save a product?
With the MONA Clipper
The fastest way while you browse. Install the MONA Clipper, open any product page, click the MONA icon, check the fields, and save. Because it reads the page in your own browser, it works on trade portals you are signed in to and on sites that block automated fetching. The full walkthrough is in How do I use the MONA Clipper to save products from any website?.
From a link
- In Products, click Add product, then From URL.
- Paste the vendor’s product page into Product URL and click Add product.
- MONA saves the card right away and keeps fetching the image, title, and description in the background.
- If the link is already saved, you see Already in your library instead of a duplicate. Click Open product, Save as a version for a different size, finish or colorway, or Paste another link.
You can also paste a link into a chat with MONA and say "save this". See Can MONA pull product images, specs, and prices from vendor websites?.
By hand
For a showroom piece, a custom item, or anything without a web page:
- Click Add product, then Create manually.
- Fill in Title (the only required field), plus whatever you know: Brand, Supplier / retailer, Price, SKU, Category, Dimensions, Materials, Color, Finish, and Description. Product URL is optional and is only a link back to the source; MONA does not import anything from it.
- Choose an image file or paste an image URL.
- Click Create product.
How do I search and filter my products?
- Go to Library, then Products, and type in Search your library. When your library is large, MONA searches the whole library on the server, not just the cards on screen.
- Narrow the results with the filters. Each one only appears when your products have values for it:
- Category (the trade, like Lighting or Plumbing) and Subcategory (like pendant or faucet)
- Material, Brand, Vendor (the retailer you saved it from), and Tags
- Price, in bands from Under $500 to $5,000 and up
- For an exact range, use the price range control: pick Client price or Retail / MSRP, then type a minimum and maximum.
- Sort with Recently added, Price: low to high, Price: high to low, or Name: A to Z. In Table view, click the column headers instead.
- Tick Show archived to include products you have archived.
How do I add a product to a project schedule?
- Open the product and click Add to schedule. From the grid, open the card’s ⋯ menu and choose Add to schedule….
- Search for and pick the project. To start a new project, click New project, type a name, and click Create & continue.
- Pick a Room from the project’s rooms or type a new one. Leave it blank to add the line as Unassigned.
- Set Quantity and click Add to schedule.
The new line copies the product’s specs and pricing at that moment. Editing the product later never changes a line already on a schedule. How the line is priced is covered in How do I set my markup and trade discounts in MONA?.
You can work from the other direction too. On a project’s Schedule tab, the add menu has Product from library, Add from URL, Add manually, and From web clipper. For everything about schedules, see FF&E schedules.
How do I keep the library organized?
- Edit product (all projects). Opens every field for editing, including Category, Subcategory, Tags (for example "outdoor" or "client favorite"), dimensions, and pricing. Changes apply to the product everywhere, and new lines start from them.
- Versions. Keep sizes, finishes and colorways of one piece together on one product page instead of as separate cards. Use Add a version on the product page, or Save as a version when you paste a link you already saved.
- Archive. Retires a product without breaking anything. Archived products drop out of the library but stay on every schedule, slide, approval and purchase order that uses them. Show archived, then Restore to library, brings one back.
- Used in Projects. The bottom of each product page lists every project that uses it.
- Project filter. In Library, the Project filter shows only one project’s products. From there, the card menu offers Remove from this project.
Folders, the Library’s other type chips, and sharing files with clients are covered in How do I organize my library, projects, and saved styles?.
What about vendor and brand catalogs?
MONA is adding vendor catalogs one brand at a time. When a brand catalog is available to your studio, a Your library and Brands switch appears at the top of Products. If you do not see that switch, no brand catalog is available to your studio yet. The Clipper and From URL work with any vendor in the meantime.
What it does not do (yet)
- Prices are captured when you save. MONA does not watch vendor sites for price changes. Check pricing with the vendor before you order.
- Pages behind a trade login cannot be read from a pasted link. Use the Clipper for those.
- Remove is a hard delete. It is refused for a product that is on a schedule, slide, approval or purchase order. Use Archive.
- No folders inside Products. Use Category, Tags and the Project filter instead.

How do I save a product from a vendor website?

Can I add a product that has no website?
Yes. Click Add product, then Create manually. Only Title is required; add brand, supplier, price, SKU, dimensions, materials, color, finish, a description, and an image if you have them.
What happens if I save the same link twice?
MONA does not create a duplicate. It shows Already in your library with the existing card, and offers Open product, Save as a version for a different size, finish or colorway, or Paste another link.
How do I add a product to a client’s FF&E schedule?
Open the product and click Add to schedule, or use Add to schedule… from the card’s ⋯ menu. Pick the project, choose a room or leave it Unassigned, set the quantity, and click Add to schedule. From inside a schedule you can also use Product from library.
How do I search and filter my saved products?

Use Archive instead. Archiving hides the card from the library without touching any schedule, slide, approval or purchase order that uses it. Turn on Show archived to find it again and click Restore to library.
Does MONA have vendor or brand catalogs?
Vendor catalogs are being added one brand at a time. When a brand catalog is available to your studio, a Your library and Brands switch appears at the top of Products. If you do not see it, none is available to you yet, and the Clipper or a pasted link covers any vendor.
