How does MONA pricing work? Plans, seats, and credits explained

MONA is billed per seat with two plans: Pro $199 and Studio $399 per month. Every seat adds its plan's AI credits to one shared team pool.

MONA is billed per seat, and every seat adds its monthly AI credits to one pool your whole team shares. There are two plans: Pro at $199 per month with 750 credits, and Studio at $399 per month with 2,000 credits, the best per-credit rate of the two. Yearly billing saves about two months, working out to $165.83 and $332.50 per month respectively.

Per seat, shared pool

Pricing is per seat, not per studio. If your studio has three people on Pro, you pay for three Pro seats, and your team's shared pool is 3 x 750 = 2,250 credits per month. Any team member can draw from the pool, so a heavy render week for one designer is covered by the team's total rather than an individual cap.

What credits are

Credits are the single meter for all AI work in MONA, and there are two things that draw from the pool.

The first is generation. A standard render or image costs about one credit. Heavier operations such as HD 3D model generation and AI video cost more, with video metered by the second of footage generated.

The second is chatting with the MONA agent. Agent chat is metered by the computation it uses, so a typical message is around one credit and long sessions or complex requests cost more. Asking the agent to research a vendor, read a long document, or work through a multi-step task will use more credits than a quick question. Agent chat and generation draw from the same pool, so heavy chat weeks leave fewer credits for renders.

Everyday work you do yourself does not consume credits: organizing your library, projects, tasks, notes, and human-to-human messaging with your clients and teammates are all free. The distinction is who is doing the work. Messaging a client costs nothing. Asking the MONA agent to draft that message is AI work, and it is metered.

Where can I see my usage?

Click your profile picture in the top right and choose Monthly Usage. It shows credits used against your pool for the current cycle, the reset date, and a breakdown of where the credits went, split by renders and images, AI agent chat, video, precision edits, and plan changes. If chat is a bigger line than you expected, that breakdown is the place you will see it.

What happens when you hit the limit

MONA tells you and pauses new generations until your pool resets at the start of your next billing cycle. Nothing is auto-charged. If you hit the ceiling regularly, upgrading the plan tier raises every seat's contribution to the pool. Your existing work is never affected, only new generations wait.

Plans and features

All plans include the full MONA agent: renders from floor plans and photos, the design agent, scheduled tasks, and sourcing. A few advanced surfaces, such as client-facing Presentations, are Studio plan features. The capability of the agent itself is never reduced on lower tiers.

Canceling and coming back

You can cancel anytime from the billing portal. Your workspace is not deleted: projects, renders, clients, and everything MONA has learned about your studio stay intact, and if you resubscribe later you pick up where you left off.

Frequently asked questions

Does chatting with the MONA agent use credits? Yes. Agent chat is metered by the computation it uses, so a typical message is around one credit and long or complex sessions cost more. Renders and agent chat draw from the same pool. Organizing your library, tasks, notes, and human-to-human client messaging are free.

Where can I see what my credits were spent on? Click your profile picture and choose Monthly Usage. The usage meter breaks your spend down by category, including AI agent chat.

Is it per seat or per studio? Per seat. Each active team member is a seat on your subscription, and each seat adds its plan's credits to the shared pool.

Do unused credits roll over? No, the pool resets each billing cycle.

Is there a minimum commitment? No. Monthly plans cancel anytime, and yearly plans simply prepay 12 months at the discounted rate.

What happens to my projects if I cancel? They remain in your workspace. Cancelation stops billing and new AI generations, not access to what you have made.
